History of Photography
The First Camera was important because the art has been around since the 5th century. but didn't come alive until the 11th century when a Iraqi scientist created the camera obscura, which didn't actually take pictures, but projected an image onto another surface. The First Permanent Images (Daguerreotype, Emulsion Plates, Dry Plates) were important because it was the first time time pictures could be captured for more than a few seconds. Some types of processes actually lead to the advancement of cameras and allowed them to be smaller and faster. Camera For Everyone was important because George Eastman made camera film in the form of a roll. that allowed cameras to be small enough to be handheld. the film size also allowed for most people to be able to afford a camera.
