Shadows and Light

The sun light was shinning through the window. Since the window only allows some light to come in  the image of the windows go on the ground. With out the light it would just be a picture of a dark room, and there would be no contrast or emphasis.

This is a picture of five marbles in a spot light. The photographer most likely placed the marbles on the table and had a friend hold a flashlight while he took the photo.

This picture was taken from my iPhone in the TV Broadcasting room. I had Ben shine his phone flashlight through a small tear in one of the sets backgrounds. The direction of light is clearly visible behind the tear. This picture shows the contrast since only the perimeter of the tear is lit up and the rest is dark.
