Abstract Photography

This photo is abstract because it is not clearly visible on what the image is. The photographer also put the image into black and white which makes it harder to comprehend.

I think the photographer found the subject tilted the camera slightly took the picture then converted it over to black and white.

I choose this photo because it was one of the few that I couldn't figure out what it was off of first glance  

1. Look for lines and curves 
2. Go macro
3. Experiment and recognize your control
4. Seek out textures and patterns 
5. Photograph what catches your eye  

Milky Clouds
My favorite abstract photo would have to be Milky Clouds, because its the most unique and colorful of the two. To help capture the abstract image, I first turned my flash on and got as close to the subject as possible while still being able to focus. To strengthen the composition of the photo i edited the saturation to make the colors stand out as little more. maybe.

    Nice Milky Clouds photo! It appears almost smokey. Just missed a few criteria.

PENGUIN        In the foreground of our box, you will see a single penguin next to a group of four other penguins.  In the middle ground of our box, you will see a polar bear to the right of the group of penguins, and an airplane that is hanging from the top of the box with fishing line.  In the background of our box, you will see two hot air balloons a large group of penguins and a man riding a horse.  One thing I would change about our box would be the fore ground because I the pictures we used weren't in the best place. Our strongest area of our box is the original background and the sky because they are the things that look the best.

History of Photography

The First Camera was important because the art has been around since the 5th century. but didn't come alive until the 11th century when a Iraqi scientist created the camera obscura, which didn't actually take pictures, but projected an image onto another surface. The First Permanent Images (Daguerreotype, Emulsion Plates, Dry Plates)  were important because it was the first time time pictures could be captured for more than a few seconds.
